The Village of Tilton is a volunteer service that provides emergency medical care to the residents of Tilton.
In 2019, the Tilton Board approved the addition of a 12-Hour Shift On Call Schedule for the Ambulance Service. This means there will be a staffed ambulance on call from the Hours of 8:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m. The ambulance also has the ability to be staffed from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and it is most of the time.
Tilton operates 2 BLS ambulances with In-Field Paramedic Upgrade capabilities 1 BLS ambulance, and 1 Paramedic Fly Car. Two ambulances have been upgraded with Stryker Power Cot and Load Systems, the third has a Stryker Power Cot. One ambulance and the fly car carry the Stryker Lucas Device in assisting with cardiac arrest patients. All three units have Lifepak 15 cardiac monitors/defibrillators capable of obtaining 12 Lead EKGs'.
