Tilton Fire and Rescue participate in the Knox Box Program.
What is Knox Box?
Knox Box is a wall mounted safe that holds the keys to a Business, Residence, or Building that only the Tilton Fire Department can access. The keys inside may be needed in the event of an emergency situation. The Knox Box allows Tilton Fire to access these keys to quickly enter the building without needing to force entry causing un-needed damage. Tilton Fire maintains a Master Key for the Knox Box securely in our apparatus that logs every time the key is accessed.
