City Administrator

Responsibilities

The city administrator, who is appointed by the Village Board, ensures policy decisions made by the Village Board are executed. Additional duties include:

  • Apprising Village Council of all city matters
  • Assuring delivery of public services in the most efficient manner
  • Attending Village City Council meetings and other meetings as necessary
  • Managing the Village budget
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Village
  • Promoting community-based projects
  • Representing the Village in a variety of venues
